Cathedral Choir
The Cathedral Choir is a mixed, auditioned adult choir made up of volunteers, choral scholars and exhibitioners.
At each service the choir performs Mass settings by composers ranging from Palestrina and Byrd through to Poulenc, Langlais and James MacMillan, together with three major anthems, in the acoustic of Clifton Cathedral.
The choir's repertoire spans sacred music from across the centuries, including new commissions and music from the Renaissance period.
Recordings
Rehearsals take place on Friday evenings and Sunday mornings, ahead of the 11.15am Mass. New singers from a range of backgrounds join the choir on this basis.
